🧐 Are your berries looking a little brown? Don't throw them away! Throw them in a blender with some chia seeds and dehydrate them for amazing homemade fruit leather. Anyone else remember fruit roll-ups from childhood?! Let's make a healthy version! 🍓✨
🛒 Ingredients
- 3 cups berries (any kind, even the slightly mushy ones!)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional, if you like it a little sweeter)
👩🍳 How to Make It
- Blend: Toss your berries, chia seeds, and maple syrup into a blender and blend until completely smooth.
- Spread: Pour the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, spreading it out evenly into a thin layer.
- Bake/Dehydrate: Bake at 175°F (80°C) for approximately 4 to 6 hours, until the center is no longer tacky.
- Slice & Roll: Let it cool, slice it into strips, and roll them up into your very own healthy fruit roll-ups!
