Spicy Baked Drumsticks with Herbed Rice

Ingredients:
- 1kg of drumsticks
- 200g of rice
- 200ml of chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven
- Microvawe Oven
- Stove Top
- Slow Cooker
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Coat the drumsticks thoroughly with the marinade and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the drumsticks in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through, turning halfway for even cooking.
- While the drumsticks are baking, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a saucepan on the stove, combine the rinsed rice and chicken broth, and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover and let it simmer for 18-20 minutes or until cooked and fluffy.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and chop fresh parsley to mix in for flavor and garnish.
- Once the drumsticks are ready, serve them alongside the herbed rice and garnish with parsley.
