In a mixing bowl, cream together 100g butter and 200g sugar until light and fluffy.
Add 3 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in 100ml of milk and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 200g of flour, 2 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Divide the batter equally into two bowls.
In one bowl, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until the desired color is reached.
Pour the green batter into a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting by beating together 200g of cream cheese, 50g of softened butter, and 100g of powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Once the cakes are cooled, layer them to form a Christmas tree shape, applying cream cheese frosting between the layers and on the outside of the cake.
Decorate the cake with red and green sprinkles to resemble ornaments on the tree.
