Classic Tiramisu Delight

Ingredients:
- 100g of mascarpone cheese
- 50ml of strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 30g of sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 100g of ladyfinger biscuits
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- A splash of coffee liqueur (optional)
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Spatula
- Serving dish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and sugar until the mixture becomes pale and creamy.
- Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth and well combined.
- In another bowl, quickly dip the ladyfinger biscuits in the cooled coffee (and liqueur if using) for a second on each side.
- Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers evenly.
- Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
