- In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and melted butter until fully integrated.
- Gradually combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined (do not overmix).
- Heat the skillet over medium heat and grease it lightly with butter.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
