Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 400g)
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Measuring Cups
  • Baking Sheet
  • Tongs

Instructions:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and then coat each with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing it firmly so it adheres.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts inside, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Air fry the chicken at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • In the last 5 minutes of cooking, spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Continue air frying until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot with additional marinara sauce on the side and enjoy your meal.
