Creamy Beef and Rice Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 300g of ground beef
  • 200g of white rice
  • 50g of peanut butter
  • 100g of shredded cheese
  • 1 can of canned soup
  • 100g of mashed potatoes
  • 200ml of almond milk
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Stove Top
  • Blender

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cook the white rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and canned soup, allowing it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, peanut butter, almond milk, and honey until combined.
  • In a baking dish, layer the ground beef mixture followed by the rice mixture.
  • Spread the mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.
