Texas-Style Beef Brisket

Ingredients:
- 1kg of beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons of Texas-style rub
- 100ml of apple cider vinegar
- 100ml of beef broth
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons of onion powder
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- smoker
- meat thermometer
- sharp knife
- cutting board
- aluminum foil
Instructions:
- Preheat your smoker to 120°C (250°F).
- Rub the brisket with olive oil and then apply the Texas-style rub evenly over the meat.
- Place the brisket in the smoker and cook for about 4 to 5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 90°C (195°F).
- Every hour, spritz the brisket with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and beef broth to keep it moist.
- Once cooked, remove the brisket and wrap it tightly in aluminum foil. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- After resting, slice the brisket against the grain using a sharp knife and serve with your favorite sides.
